Here, I decided to use the picture of me, looking like a drum and bass artist. I made sure that I was wearing only black and white clothes so that it would work very well with the drum and bass genre. I got an image of a cityscape at night to get the right, dark feel to it and changed it slightly on photoshop to be the right colour and shade. I then cut out different shapes that were in the cityscape picture to give a very strong, dark feel to it. I also got an image of a helicopter, which goes really wel with the genre. I played around with black and white circles and put a lense flare in the top left.
I really think that this is a strong image, showing who the artist is and the feel of the genre.
This fits in with drum and bass as it is just black and white and very tonal, like the strong beats and bas to the music.
This is getting better in terms of you sharing your decision making . You still leave a lot unexplained though. YOU must include all your thoughts on Why this work 'fits' D n B. You should really have a list of all the conventions here on the blog with visual material to evidence this. JIN
